UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar tweeted that the second phase of UGC NET has been postponed.

Exam will now be held from September 20 to September 30.

NTA conducted the Phase I of the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) on July 9, 11, and 12, 2022.

UGC NET Phase 2 for the merged cyles was earlier scheduled to be held on August 12, 13 and 14, 2022.

UGC NET exams Phase 2 will be conducted for 64 subjects including Telugu and Marathi.

The UGC NET Phase 2 exam city will be displayed on the NTA website on September 11.

The UGC NET Phase 2 admit card will be available from September 16.
